The Training Academy was officially launched on the 30th April, 2002 by the Minister responsible for Justice. The role and functions of the Academy were further strengthened in 2005 by EU funding acquired through the Transition Facility Programme. It now conducts its activities from an office, a fully equipped Training Room and a web site. Since its inception, the Training Academy has been instrumental in organising specialized courses to a variety of Court and non-Court personnel. The training topics provided included orientation and induction courses, updates on new EU directives and local legislation.

Expression of Interest: Assistants of the Administrative Review Tribunal. The Ministry for Justice and Home Affairs is in the process of compiling a list of potential experts who can be appointed as Assistants of the Administrative Review Tribunal established by the Administrative Justice Act, Chapter 490 of the Laws of Malta.
